Sumter School District’s Academics Department assesses, evaluates, and curates curriculum to ensure that all students are college and career ready when they graduate. Federal programs, the Multilingual Learner Program (MLP), Gifted and Talented, Career and Technology Education, Instructional Technology, Assessment, and Accountability all fall under the purview of the Academic Department.
